My cognitive approaches are based off of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. This form of therapy has been shown through empirical studies to be effective in treating a wide range of mental health challenges. Individuals that are more analytically minded tend to do well with this form of treatment.

My emotion based approaches are based off of Emotion Focused Therapy. This form of therapy is also empirically supported for a variety of mental health issues. Individuals that tend to be deep feelers respond well to this type of treatment.

Regardless of your preferred treatment modality, I will strive to create a supportive and caring therapeutic relationship with you. I frequently hear from clients that it is refreshing to be around me because they aren't worried about being judged.

Individual Therapy

I provide individual therapy for a variety of issues. These include: depression, anxiety, addiction, grief/loss, faith crisis, victim of abuse, family problems, and others. 

​

I am trained and skilled in a variety of individual therapy approaches. Some are more cognitive based and others are more emotion based. I'll work with you to find an approach that best fits your needs to accomplish your goals.
